There are several steps to set up a new Stimulator.
A prompt will appear when a new Stimulator is connected
•
if the trial type has not yet been assigned to the Stimulator.
Select the type of trial and the Trial Stimulator will be
configured appropriately.
Input the serial number of the patient's Remote Control in the
•
Remote Control ID field ( 1 ). This pairs the Remote Control to
the Stimulator, allowing the Stimulator to receive commands
from the Remote Control.
Note: The Stimulator can only communicate with the Remote Control that is
entered in this field.
Enter the patient identifier associated with this device into the
•
Patient ID field ( 2 ).
Enter the date of the Stimulator implant procedure in the
•
Device Implant Date field.
These fields, including the Patient ID and the Remote Control
serial number can be updated at any time as needed.
