8. Attach the pump body (#29) assembly to the right post
using 4 bolts (#27) and 4 washers (#28). Place a washer
over the bolt and insert the bolt through post's strut and
screw it into the bolt hole in the pump. Repeat with the
other 3 bolts.
9. Attach the ram (#10) assembly to the upper crossbeam using
4 bolts (#9) inserted from above, 4 lock washers (#11) and 4
nuts (#12).
10. Connect the pump body's hydraulic hose (#31) connector
(A) to the ram inlet (A).
11. Install the pressure gauge (#26) assembly. Screw the
coupler nut (#23) into the opening of the ram's extended
arm. Ensure it is tight to prevent hydraulic oil from leaking.
12. Check all nuts and bolts for tightness before.
13. Place the heel blocks (#22) onto the bed frame.
OPERATION

BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Pour a teaspoon of good quality, air tool lubricant into the
air valve (#P14) assembly through the air inlet. Connect the
quick coupler (#P45) to the air supply and operate for
3 seconds to evenly distribute the lubricant.
2. Bleed air from the hydraulic system (see Bleeding the
Hydraulic System in Care & Maintenance).
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! Ensure that you read, understand and apply the
safety instructions and warnings before use.
1. Place both heel blocks (#22) on the bed frame (#21) far
enough apart to support the workpiece. Leave a gap wide
enough for the ram piston. Position the workpiece on the
heel blocks.
