UNIQUE FUNNEL SYSTEM
From grilling to cooking or baking, in the standard position, the unique OUTDOORCHEF funnel system ensures even heat distribution inside
the kettle and prevents harmful flare-ups as the burners are completely shielded.
Rather than catching fire, dripping fat runs along the porcelain-enamelled funnel into the collecting tray under the kettle. As the host, you can
spend more time with your guests while your barbecue specialities are grilled perfectly all over – with no turning required.
Meat, fish, vegetables and more stay deliciously juicy, tender or crisp. Some of the fat and meat juice dripping onto the funnel evaporates,
which gives meat, fish, vegetables and more that unmistakable barbecue flavour.
Pizza, tarte flambée or bread are baked to brick oven quality at up 360 degrees. The small burner allows you to barbecue food gently
at temperatures around 80 degrees - perfect for tender large joints of meat such as roast beef, tomahawk or rib-eye.
Turning the funnel to the volcano position allows you to work with very high, concentrated heat from below (up to 500 degrees), ideal for
OUTDOORCHEF accessories such as the Barbecue Wok, Flavouring Pan or the Cast-Iron Griddle Plate.
And because the interior of the gas kettle barbecue stays nice and clean thanks to the funnel, cleaning up afterwards is easy.
TIP: to clean the funnel, we recommend heating the barbecue at the highest level for 10 minutes (standard position). Then you can simply
brush out the funnel using a brush with brass bristles. We recommend the OUTDOORCHEF Funnel Brush.

STANDARD POSITION
The standard position is the optimal funnel position for most grilling applications and ensures
unique heat circulation inside the kettle. The food is grilled evenly all over – with no turning
necessary. Meat, fish, vegetables and more all stay deliciously juicy, tender or crisp.
The standard position is thus perfect for all kinds of meat, gently grilled fish, gratins, crunchy
vegetables, and also for baking pizza, tarte flambée or bread.
VOLCANO POSITION
Turning the funnel to the volcano position allows you to work with very high, concentrated heat
from below, ideal for OUTDOORCHEF accessories such as the Barbecue Wok, Flavouring Pan
or Cast-Iron Griddle Plate.
This makes the volcano position perfect for flash-grilled meat such as tuna steaks, scallops or
wok-fried vegetables.
