2 . I N S T A L L A T I O N
• Raise the support cover (A - Fig. 2) to expose the securing Allen screw (B - Fig. 2).
• Loosen the Allen screw by 5 mm (B - Fig. 2) located on the upper part of the
body, so that the retaining band (C - Fig. 2) can be slid over the non-taped han-
dlebar without removing the band from the Ergopower™ control lever unit. Make
sure that the arrow on the band faces towards the upper part of the control unit
(C - Fig. 3).

• If the support cover has been com-
pletely removed, moisten the inside
slightly with alcohol to facilitate instal-
lation on the control unit.
• For the majority of handlebars, the
optimal position for the control unit is
obtained:
- by aligning the lower end of the
brake lever with the lower end of the
handlebar (Fig. 4).
