Legal and technical information
In order to avoid dry operation of the pump, make sure that the end of the
suction hose is always in the water, and not obstructed. Dry operation
provokes pump heating that may damage it. In case of overheat, thermic
protection will shut down the pump. Restart will be possible only if the
temperature of the water inside the pump has enough decreased. In order
to protect your pump, you might add a dry run safety device.
k) The pump must not be operated when people are in the pumped water.
l) This tool is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
m) It is necessary to keep children under surveillance, and to make sure that
they are not playing with the pump, or its power cord. Keep children away
from the pump when operating.
n) If the power cord is damaged, do not use the pump and do not repair it by
yourself. Bring the pump to the after sales service.
o) Use other accessories than the ones recommended in this Manual or by
the seller may invite risk of injuries for people. Before each use, fill the pump
as indicated in the instructions.
p) When it is not used, store the pump in a dry and closed place, where
children cannot get access to the pump.
q) Maintain the pump
Follow the paragraph "Care and maintenance". Check the power cord
regularly. If it is damaged make it replace by an authorized repairman.
Unplug the pump when it is not used, and before maintenance operations
(filter change, connector change...).
