c) Use safety equipment. Safety equipment such as hearing protection will reduce
personal injuries.
d) Avoid accidental starting. Ensure the switch is in the off position before plugging
in.
e) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and
gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught in
moving parts.
f) Maintain your pump. If the pump is damaged, make it repair by a specialist before
any use. Many accidents are caused by not properly maintained power tools

properly. The pump must be used only for its prescribed purpose. Any use other than
those mentioned in this Manual will be considered a case of misuse. The user and
not the manufacturer shall be liable for any damage or injury resulting from such
cases of misuse.
4) REPAIR
If necessary, your pump must be repaired by a qualified technician, using
only replacing spare parts identical to the originals.
5) SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
a) This pump is only intended to pump clear water. Pumping sand or other
abrasive materials causes rapid wear, and lower performances It is
mandatory to use a suction hose equipped with a filter.
Corrosive, easily combustible, aggressive or explosive liquids (such as
gasoline, petroleum or nitro thinner), saltwater, oils and greases must not be
pumped.
b) Never try to pump liquid exceeding 35°C.
c) Always unplug the pump from the mains before any operation
(maintenance, cleaning...).
d) Never try to modify or repair the pump by yourself. If you think that the
pump has to be repaired, bring it to a recommended after sales service, or
to the store where you bought it.
e) Check that all power connections are protected against water infiltration.
f) Check that power supply is equipped with an approved residual-current
device.
g) This pump is intended to domestic use inside the house, or in the garden.
It is not suitable for continuous operation (e.g. industrial use, continuous
circulation operations, swimming pool).
h) Verify the air holes of the pump. They must not be obstructed, neither
partly, nor totally.
i) It is recommended to put the pump on a solid and plane surface.
