5.3 CAB
Safety notes
a) Always shut the doors before moving off with the tractor.
b) Keep the windows clean to ensure good visibility.
c) The cab is approved as a safety structure. It is therefore absolutely forbidden
to tamper with it, modify or add extra equipment and/or supports.
Versions
The machine can be equipped with a cab in three different versions:
• Cab without ventilation (Basic version)
• Cab with heating function (Top Calda) – see fig. 31
• Cab with heating and air conditioning (Top Fredda) – see fig. 32
Accessories: activated carbon filter and revolving beacon.
Cab identification
To identify the cab, consult the metal data plate affixed inside on the rear cross-
member (N° 1 fig. 33). It lists the following information:
• Manufacturer
• Type
• Serial number (chassis number)
5.3.1 Heating and ventilating
The ventilation function is operated by means of the control (N° 1 fig. 31 and
32). Direct the air flow by positioning front vents N° 4 fig. 31 and 32 as required.
The air can be drawn from the outside or from inside the cab by means of vents
N° 2 fig. 31 and 32:
• vents closed: the air is drawn from the outside through the filter.
• vents open: most of the air is drawn from the inside through the vents
themselves.
The heating function is operated by means of control N° 3 fig. 31 and 32 (a
=open; c = closed). Vary the ventilation speed by means of control N° 1 fig. 31
and 32.
