7.1
Switching on and off
When switching on a luminaire with PULSE
light management, indirect light and direct
light are switched on with a time delay. The
light control is adjusted automatically to the
reflection conditions of the room.
Switching the indirect light on and off
X Press the upper switch, see Fig. 12.
If you switch off the indirect light, it
does not have any direct effect on the
direct light. The light control remains
activated. PULSE controls the inten-
sity of the direct light if the intensity
in the detection range of the daylight
sensor has changed. The preset ratio
of the indirect light and direct light is
tracked in the background. If the indirect
light is switched on again, the ratio is
restored. The automatic switch-on and
-off of the luminaire also remains acti-
vated depending on the intensity in the
room. The luminaire switches off auto-
matically if the intensity of the daylight
is sufficient.

Switching the direct light on and off
X Press the lower switch, see Fig. 12.
If you switch off the direct light, the light
control is deactivated. PULSE does not
control the intensity of the indirect light
if the intensity in the detection range of
the daylight sensor has changed. The
automatic switch-on and -off of the lumi-
naire remains activated depending on
the intensity in the room. The luminaire
switches off automatically if the inten-
sity of the daylight is sufficient.
7.2
Dimming
Dimming the indirect light
X Press the upper switch and keep it
depressed, see Fig. 12.
After about one second, the luminaire
will change its brightness.
X To change the dimming direction, press
the switch again and keep it depressed.
This will save the set brightness. The
next time the luminaire is switched on,
the brightness saved last will be set.
The ratio of the indirect light and direct
light is saved. PULSE controls the inten-
sity of the luminaire in this ratio if the
intensity in the detection range of the
daylight sensor changes.
Dimming the direct light
X Press the lower switch and keep it
depressed, see Fig. 12.
After about one second, the luminaire
will change its brightness.
