5.1
Operation via external switches
This chapter applies only to luminaires with
the model number DPP xxx/D. The model
number can be found on the cover at the
luminaire head.

Switching on and off
X Press the switch briefly.
Dimming
X Press the switch and keep it pressed.
After about one second, the luminaire
will change its brightness.
X To change the dimming direction, press
the switch again and keep it pressed.
Saving the dimming value
Prerequisite: The luminaire is on.
X Press the switch twice in quick suc-
cession.
This will save the set brightness.
The next time the luminaire is switched
on, the brightness saved last will be set.
Deleting the dimming value
Prerequisite: The luminaire is off.
X Press the switch twice in quick suc-
cession.
The dimming value is deleted.
The next time the luminaire is switched
on, the last set brightness will be set
automatically.
Synchronising the luminaires
By means of this function, you can syn-
chronise several luminaires with uneven
switching or dimming, which are operated
by means of one switch, so that they switch
and dim synchronously again.
X Press the switch and keep it pressed.
The luminaires are switched on.
X Press the switch.
The luminaires are switched off.
X Press the switch and keep it pressed.
The luminaires switch on at the mini-
mum dimming value and increase the
dimming level.
The luminaires switch and dim synchro-
nously again.

Operation via DALI-bus
This chapter applies only to luminaires with
the model number DPP xxx/D. The model
number can be found on the cover at the
luminaire head.
NOTE: For the operation of the luminaires
via the DALI bus, refer to the publications
of the corresponding system.
