Selecting the operating mode
By default, the mode selection button (U) is set to the central
position: the Ondeis rain sensor is not activated.
To activate it, select a mode on the Eolis io sensor mounting
bracket:
• Turn the mode selection button to C: the rain sensor is activated in comfort mode.
• Turn the mode selection button to S: the rain sensor is activated in safety mode.
Attention
Do not use tools to turn the mode selection button (U).
Fitting the mounting bracket
1) Check the presence, good condition and the position of the
seal (V) before fitting the cover.
2) Screw the front panel (K) of the mounting bracket back on.
Attention
Tighten the screws completely to maintain the tightness of
the mounting bracket.

2.3. COMMISSIONING

2.3.1. Pairing the Eolis io with an io motor or receiver

Prerequisite: The motorised product must already be adjusted and paired with a 1W io-homecontrol®
control point.
1) Switch on the power supply.
2) Press the PROG button on the Somfy 1W io control point
paired with the motorised product for about 2 sec until the
motorised product completes an up-and-down movement.
3) Briefly press the PROG button on the Eolis io.
The motorised product performs another up-and-down
movement.
The Eolis io sensor is paired.
To pair the Eolis io sensor with other io motors or receivers, repeat this procedure.
To pair using an io-homecontrol® control point from a partner brand or a bi-directional Somfy io
control point, please refer to the relevant guide.
If an Ondeis rain sensor is connected to the Eolis io, it can also be paired with a Somfy io bi-directional
control point, such as TaHoma or Connexoon, via the Eolis io: select comfort mode and consult the
corresponding manual.
2.3.2. Checking Eolis io pairing
1) Position the motorised product at the lower end limit.
