7. MAINTENANCE AND WINTER STORAGE

7.1 Maintenance

Before performing any maintenance, unplug the power cable.
Forgetting to do so could result in electrocution.
Maintenance operations on the refrigerant circuit must only be
carried out by qualified personnel who are authorised to handle liquid
refrigerants.
These maintenance operations must be carried out once a year to guarantee
good working order and longevity of the heat pump.
Clean the evaporator with a soft brush or air stream or water spray.
Warning: Never use a high-pressure washer.
Verify that the condensates drain away properly.
Verify that the hydraulic fittings are properly tightened.
Verify that there are no water leaks.
Verify that there is no air coming in.
Verify the stability and fastening of the heat pump.

7.2 Winter storage

Put the heat pump in the "OFF" mode.
Unplug the power cable.
Carefully roll up the power cable and its RCD plug.
Empty the condenser to avoid any risk of deterioration from freezing. To
do this, unscrew the water inlet hydraulic fitting (lower point, see figure on
page 6). Let the water drain out.
Unscrew the water outlet hydraulic fitting.
Drain as much of the water as possible from the condenser using an air
gun.
Seal the water inlet and outlet to prevent entry of foreign bodies.
Cover the heat pump with a winter storage cover (not included).
Store the heat pump in a dry, ventilated location if possible.
Any damage caused by improper winter storage will lead to cancellation
of the warranty.
