Maintenance, care and inspection:
Before each use, the anchor devices must be checked to ensure they are mechanically
secured and in a sound condition. Loose, deformed or otherwise damaged anchor devices
must be fastened or replaced.
If the fall protection system is damaged or put under stress by a fall, then this must no
longer be used. In these cases the anchor device and its anchoring to the structure must
be checked by a competent person and be dismantled and fully replaced if necessary.
The builder/building operator is obliged to ensure that the anchor device is in a proper
condition at all times. It is therefore recommended, as required, however at least every
12 months (e.g. as part of the general roof maintenance), to have it checked by a
competent person in strict compliance with the manufacturer's instructions for use.
This inspection is essential, as the safety of the user depends on the effectiveness and
durability of the anchor device.
The check should be arranged by the operator.
An inspection log card is included in the appendix to these user instructions, on which the
inspection by the competent person may be documented. The checklist also found in the
appendix can be used as help.
The date of the next scheduled inspection should always be entered on the inspection log
card
Contact between the stainless steel anchor device and "black" steel (also in the form of
swarf), as well as chemicals and other aggressive substances must be prevented.

The LUX-top FALZ-PLUS II anchor device is permanently weather resistant.
Depending on the conditions of use, the anchor device must be cleaned occasionally with
warm water.
Under no circumstances use aggressive cleaning agents or chemicals!
Miscellaneous:
Changes or additions may not be made without the prior written consent of the
manufacturer. Equally, all repairs may only be carried out in agreement with the
manufacturer. If sold on to another country, the reseller must make the instructions for
use, maintenance, regular checks and repairs available in the relevant country's language
to ensure the safety of the user.
