5.4 PROCEDURE FOR SELF-TEACHING OF OTHER REMOTE CONTROLS

When the self-teaching of the first remote control is completed, while the buzzer is still
ON, you can add other remote controls by repeating steps 3 and 4 above.
Afterwards, you can start the remote control saving procedure again by pressing, at the
same time, all the buttons on a transmitter which has already been saved: the buzzer will
sound and you can now add extra remote controls by repeating steps 3 and 4 above.
INFORMATION:
• The procedure for self-teaching of the first remote control, as described above, is only
possible if the receiver memory is completely empty.
• To quit the saving procedure, press the SW2 delete button.
• The system remains in the self-teaching mode (continuous buzzer) for a maximum of
approx. 25 seconds before the receiver automatically returns to normal mode (buzzer
OFF).

5.5 DELETING A REMOTE CONTROL

1. With the device powered up, press and hold down the delete button SW2: the LED LD8
lights up and the buzzer BZ1 will sound continuously.
2. Press any button on the remote control you want to delete.
3. The LED LD8 and the buzzer BZ1 will go OFF to indicate that deletion of the remote
control is complete.
• To delete more than one remote control, repeat stage 2 above, holding down the SW2
button.
• This procedure is useful for deleting remote controls which have been saved by
mistake. A remote control which has been deleted can be saved to the receiver again
by following the procedure described above.

6. ACCESSORIES

6.1 CA41 MODULE (ONLY FOR T3S)

The insertion of this module in the unit adds a extra reception channel to the device. The
extra channel makes it possible to control two different devices from the SAME UNIT
AND THE STANDARD 2-BUTTON APRIMATIC REMOTE CONTROL.

6.2 16 kb or 128 kbits MEMORY EXPANSION MODULE (ONLY FOR T3S)

Adding this module to the unit makes it possible to manage up to 1,500 devices.

6.3 PROGRAMMING TOOLS (ONLY FOR T3S)

Aprimatic devices and remote controls may also be programmed using the following:
• APRITOOL programmer for access control management
• APRICOT-MANAGER access control management software
• Connection base for programming APRIBASE 1 transmitters

6.4 CODED KEYPAD

It is possible to install a coded keypad by connecting the CT3 decoding card to the K3
connector.

6.5 BADGE READER

It is possible to fit a badge reader by connecting the LB4 decoding card to the K3
connector.

6.6 UNICO RECEIVER

Snap on radio receiver module for controlling an Aprimatic control unit and a maximum of
another 3 generic devices (with dedicated optional relay modules).
