Probe contact sensitivity

The probe contact sensitivity can be set according to the type of
measuring insert.
- SHORT: For short and rigid inserts
- MEDIUM: For medium measuring inserts
- LONG: For long and not-so-rigid inserts
Comment:
The "MEDIUM" and "LONG" probe contact filters reduce the
robustness of the probe contact. The accuracy and the precision of
reproducibility can vary according to the user.

SmartReverse

The SmartReverse function facilitates the measurement of diame-
ters. Whenever this function is activated, an acoustic signal and
flashing measured values draw the user's attention to the fact that
the reversal point has been reached.
- SMART: SmartReverse mode activated
- STANDARD: SmartReverse mode deactivated
9.7 Sending of data (in diameter or centre line mode)
It is possible to configure the sending of data for the diameter and
centre line measurement modes (Chapters 5.3 and 6.3).
- BOTH: Used to simultaneously send diameter / distance
and centre distance data
- DIAMETER: Used to send diameter / distance data only
- CENTER: Used to send centre distance data only
- ALTERN: Used to send diameter / distance data when pressing
the print key once and to send centre distance data when pressing
the print key twice
