5.7 Changing the measurement unit

Measurements can be expressed in millimetres (mm) or inches (inch).
Press the mm/in button to change the measurement unit. The cur-
rent measurement unit is indicated at the top left corner.
It is possible to have this feature blocked
(see Chapter 9).
5.8 Measurement in modes Min. / Max. / Delta

Measurements in modes Min, Max und Delta are always performed
with contact made between the probe and a surface.
The following values can be determined:

To select the Min, Max or Delta mode, press the button shown. Press
this button again to go from mode to mode.
Please note:
The difference between the minimum and the maximum value
should not exceed ± 1 mm in manual mode. A control unit enables
capturing the entire instrument measurement range when the mo-
tor is activated.
5.8.1 Measurement in modes Min or Max
1. Select the Min or Max function. The corresponding indicator shows
the activated mode.
2. Probe the surface to be measured using the measuring insert
and have the measuring insert move along the workpiece to be
analysed.
Add diameter: The first row indicates the current position of the
measuring insert. The second row indicates the minimum or the
maximum value determined.
Comment:
The display is reset by zero positioning or presetting.
