Should the instrument fail to be switched on, or
if the battery is low, have the battery pack char-
ge fully (connect the charger to the instrument).
It takes roughly three hours to fully charge com-
pletely depleted battery packs.
Charge the battery packs only using the charger that was supplied with the instrument.
You do not have to wait until the battery packs are fully charged. The instrument is ready
for operation as soon the charger has been connected to the instrument. There is no risk
associated with keeping the charger connected to the instrument. Instruments that are
continuously connected to a charger will switch to trickle charge.
These are lithium-ion battery packs. Excessive ambient temperatures could adversely affect
the battery pack capacity and as a consequence influence the autonomy of the instrument.
We do not recommend charging the battery pack at temperatures exceeding 40 C°. Impro-
per charging of the battery can result in capacity reduction, overheating, and even explosi-
on, causing considerable damage.
The battery packs can be fully charged and depleted 300 times before there is a noticeable
and significant capacity reduction. The number of charging cycles and the level of auto-
nomy vary according to usage.
