Turn off power to the oven at the main power supply

(fuse or breaker box).
Remove three screws from oven cavity holding the

rack in place.
Remove oven rack to provide access to the bulb

housing.
Remove screw from top of bulb housing.

Insert the tip of a narrow flat blade screwdriver

between the metal clips at about a 40° angle. The
screwdriver blade must be able to pass between the
metal clips to reach the inner catch.
Push the screwdriver blade inward to disengage the

catch from the slot in the bulb housing. Gently pry the
lens off by moving the screwdriver handle away from
the oven wall.
Support the glass lens cover to prevent it from

falling.The lens should detach easily. Do not attempt to
force it.
Pull the halogen bulb from its socket.
