• Clean firebox of all embers and ash
• Remove andirons
1. Removing the screen will result in the screen immediately rising, use caution. It is recommended
to have another person assist in holding the screen door while the screen frame is being removed.
2. Lift the screen. From inside the appliance, lower the screen (FIG.1).
3. Remove the 10 top and bottom screws and the 8 side screws (FIG. 2).
4. Remove the screen from the frame and replace.
5. Reverse these steps to reinstall the screen frame into the appliance.
6. If the screen door becomes unbalanced, refer to the "balance weight adjustment" section.
note:
Do not leave the door slightly open. Ensure your counter weights are balanced and the doors close properly
