baffle installation
Your appliance is shipped with two baffles. For protection, the rear baffle is shipped inside your appliance box
and the front baffle is shipped laying on the firebox base inside your appliance. For proper appliance operation
and installation, the rear baffle should rest against the back of the smoke chamber and the front baffle should rest
against the front of the smoke chamber.
1. To install the rear baffle (Fig. 1), tilt and move the baffle up into the smoke chamber until the baffle clears the
top support bracket at the back of the appliance.
2. Place the baffle on the upper support brackets and lean the bottom against the bracket on the back of the
smoke chamber.
note:
The narrowest part of the rear baffle must lean against the back of the smoke chamber.
3. To install the front baffle (Fig. 2), slide the baffle vertically up the front of the smoke chamber.
4. Once the bottom of the baffle has cleared the U-Channel, slide the bottom of the baffle into the channel.
5. Lean the top of the baffle down onto the support brackets. Slide the baffle to center.
note:
The widest part of the front baffle must lean against the front of the smoke chamber.
