Risk of fire. Maintain all specified air space clearances to combustibles. Failure to comply with these instructions
may cause a fire or cause the appliance to overheat. Ensure all clearances (i.e. back, side, top, vent, mantel,
front, etc.) are clearly maintained.
When using paint or lacquer to finish the mantel, the paint or lacquer must be heat resistant to prevent
discolouration.
When installing an unvented gas log set, all minimum clearances must be adhered to.
If the mantel is installed to cord wood clearances, an unvented gas log set cannot be installed.
See chart below for further information on mantel installation. Do not exceed the specified mantel depths or
minimum mantel heights outlined.
