Warning
Images of SQlab pedals in advertisements, social media, magazines and catalogues often show riders in extreme situations, that
are very dangerous and can lead to serious injury or death. The riders shown in the pictures are mostly professionals, with a lot
of experience and years of practice. Do not try to do this without the necessary experience and Practice reenacting these driving
maneuvers.
• Always wear suitable protective equipment (full face helmet, knee and elbow protectors, back protector, gloves etc.).
• Take part in driving technique courses that prepare you according to the conditions of use.
• Ask the race organizer, track manager and/or other riders about the current track conditions.
• Increase the unscheduled inspection intervals depending on use.
• Replace the pedals more frequently and prophylactically, especially if there is the slightest doubt about overloading and if the
smallest Signs of a defect.
• Always reckon with your own limits in fast descents, jumps, drops and other extreme driving manoeuvres and those of your equip
ment.
• In spite of protective equipment, a lot of practice and long experience, always expect the most serious injuries.
Warning
Each component has its load limit, which can be exceeded during extreme driving manoeuvres. If the pedal is overloaded there may
be a failure with crack or breakage. Note the following:
• Frequent inspection intervals, especially after a situation with extra or unexpectedly high force, for example Riding error causing
a crash.
• If in doubt, the possibly damaged component should be replaced prophylactically, especially after a situation with particularly
large or unexpectedly large force effects, for example, driving errors with fall consequences.
• In the slightest doubt you should ask your SQlab dealer for advice.
• After replacing a component that is not immediately recognisable as defective, the (possibly) damaged part must be undoubtedly
marked as unusable for third parties.
