The release force of the pedals
To make the release of the cleats easier or harder, use the adjusting screw from fig. (c + d). Turn the preload screw clockwise into the
thread, the resistance is increased and „clicking out" becomes more difficult. Turning the screw counterclockwise, makes the cleat re­
lease easier from the pedal.
Take care with the preload screw, it can fall out if it is turned too far anticlockwise. As soon as you feel greater resistance, do not turn the
screw further counterclockwise.

If you are riding with clipless pedals for the first time, reduce the resistance to „click out", this allows you to get out of the pedal
using less force. Always practice „clicking out" in a safe environment without traffic and other obstacles such as stairs, stones, etc.
In this way you can avoid falls caused by not „clicking out" in time.

The pedals SQlab 502 have four anti­slip nubs Fig. (e). These
are available in two different versions. With the aid of the
anti­slip nubs, you can adjust how good the hold on the pe­
dal side is without the click system is.
