2 GENERAL
2.1 ABOUT THE FX-8025:
The FX-8025 is a combination of a wired tele-
phone and a wireless handset. The wired tele-
phone contains the transmitter and receiver used
for the connection of the wireless handset. You
can connect multiple wireless handsets to the
wired telephone; for this, see paragraph 14.2.
2.2 ABOUT THIS USER MANUAL:
This user manual describes the installation and
functioning of the wired telephone, as of now
called TELEPHONE. The wireless handset comes
with its own user manual, which means you can
consult an individual booklet for both the tele-
phone and the wireless handset.
2.3 MAINS VOLTAGE & POWER OUTAGE:
The FX-8025 needs a power supply to function.
Telephone:
The telephone receives power through the sup-
plied power adaptor. This adaptor should be con-
nected at all times.
Wireless handset:
The wireless handset receives power from re-
chargeable batteries inserted into the handset.
These batteries are charged as soon as and for as
long as the wireless handset is put onto the char-
ger.
