Machine setting
q Stitch pattern:
w Needle thread tension:
e Presser foot:
This strong, durable stitch is recommended when both
elasticity and strength are necessary in order to insure
comfort and durability.
Use it to reinforce areas such as crotch and armhole
seams. Also use for extra reinforcement when constructing
items such as backpacks.

Multiple-zigzag Stitch

Machine setting
q Stitch pattern:
w Needle thread tension:
e Presser foot:

• Seam finishing

This stitch is used to finish the seam allowance on
synthetics and other fabrics that tend to pucker. The
stitch is also excellent for darning and mending tears.
Place your fabric to allow a 5/8˝ (1.5 cm) seam. Trim
excess close to stitching. Be careful not to cut the
stitches.

• Mending

Position the tear under the needle so that the stitch
catches both sides.

Overedge Stitch

Machine setting
q Stitch pattern:
w Needle thread tension:
e Presser foot:
Carefully guide the fabric so the needle falls off the edge
when it swings to the right.
