The maximum temperature for pumped liquids in the pump pit is 40
°C. For higher temperatures, contact Grundfos.
Select the pump on the basis of the liquid temperature.
For further information on each individual pump, see their
respective installation and operating instructions.

5.4 Stations de pompage (PS.S)

Ce paragraphe s'applique uniquement aux stations de pompage
constituées de composants autorisés par Grundfos mentionnés sur
la plaque signalétique de la station de pompage PS.S.
The pumping station system consists of several elements making
the pumping station function as one unit:
• pit
• pump
• pump controller
• level controller
• accessories.
La station de pompage peut ne pas toujours comporter ces cinq
éléments. En revanche, elle inclut systématiquement une cuve et
une pompe. Le coffret de commande et le régulateur de niveau
peuvent être intégrés à la pompe alors que les accessoire sont
ajoutés.

5.5 Homologation CE de la station de pompage PS.S

PS.S is CE approved in accordance with the following directives
and standards:
• EN 2006/42/EC, EU Machinery Directive
• EN/ISO 12100
- Safety of machinery
- General principles for design
- Risk assessment and risk reduction.
In order to ensure safe transport and to fulfil customer requests, the
PS.S elements can be assembled on site. However, the CE
approval of PS.S is only valid if the following conditions have been
fulfilled:
• PS.S has been assembled correctly in accordance with the
installation and operating instructions for PS.S and the pit,
pump and control systems.
• PS.S contains the Grundfos specified elements stated on the
PS.S nameplate. The PS.S nameplate is fitted inside the pit.
If one or more of the components, for example the controllers, in the
pumping station system are not supplied by Grundfos, it is not
possible to obtain a CE approval.

5.6 Station de pompage modulaire (PS.M)

PS.M is used instead of PS.S when the CE approval for the
complete system is not needed or some of the components, for
example the controllers, in the pumping station are not supplied by
Grundfos.
Une évaluation des risques pour l'installation complète doit être
effectuée par le client, si nécessaire.
