7.5.2 Inserting condensation barrier in the evaporator
Proceed as illustrated (fig. 6, page 4):
➤ Position the condensation barrier (1) to the lower edge of the evaporator. The
entire lining side must protrude evenly as shown by approx. 20 mm along the
entire width of the evaporator.
➤ Attach the condensation barrier to the lamellae with the clips (2).
7.5.3 Attaching an evaporator in the loading area

WARNING!
Ensure that the interior installation for the insulation has sufficient load bearing
capacity for the evaporator unit and the fastening material is appropriate for the
interior installation.
➤ Mark the position of the drill holes under the cover (position see fig. 7,
page 5 and fig. 8, page 5). The distance to the wall of the loading area is to
be at least 20 mm.
➤ Drill four holes into the insulation with Ø 4.5 mm (fig. 7, page 5 and fig. 8,
page 5).
➤ Attach the evaporator with an appropriate fastening material (fig. 9,
page 6).

Installing the control unit

The control unit can be installed with the fastening frame in a suitable cutout in
the dashboard or on a suitable place in the vehicle cab using the supplied con-
sole. For the dimensions of the control panel, see fig. 0, page 6.

Installing in the dashboard

Proceed as illustrated (fig. a, page 7):
➤ Determine a suitable installation position for the control unit in the vehicle
cab.
➤ Make a rectangular cutout of 71 mm x 29 mm.
➤ Attach the control unit with the sealing and the fastening frame.
➤ Connect the control unit cable set.
➤ Route the cable in the vehicle (see circuit diagram (supplementary sheet) and
schematic connection diagrams fig. f, page 10 and fig. g, page 10).
