Installation of stationary cooling (optional)
➤ Attach the earth connection with the self-tapping screw included (6) to the
vehicle.
➤ Label the device socket with the supplied 230 V sign (7).

Connecting stationary cooling

➤ Position the two cable set fuse holders on the relay block (included in the
Frigo DC scope of delivery) (fig. p, page 15).
➤ Remove the X32A plug (3-pin plug with cable bridge) from the cable set
(included in the Frigo DC scope of delivery) see circuit diagram (fig. g,
page 10 and supplementary sheet).
➤ Route the cable to the battery charger.
➤ Connect the red cable to the CN2 socket of the battery charger (fig. o,
page 14 and circuit diagram fig. g, page 10 and supplementary sheet).
➤ Connect the red/black cable to the CN2 socket of the battery charger
(fig. o, page 14 and circuit diagram fig. g, page 10 and supplementary
sheet).
➤ Route the supplied battery cable from the battery charger to the vehicle bat-
tery and connect it in accordance with the circuit diagrams (fig. g, page 10
and supplementary sheet).
➤ Mount the fuse supports as illustrated (fig. n, page 14).

Connecting 230 V voltage in the interior

CAUTION!
• The interior socket complies with IP20 and may only be used in the vehi-
cle's interior. Installation in the engine compartment and outside in general
is not permitted.
• The interior socket may only be operated by the original connection cables!
Proceed as illustrated (fig. q, page 15):
➤ Select a suitable installation position for the interior socket.
➤ Attach the interior socket (8) with the two bolts supplied.
➤ Connect the interior socket with the 230 V cable extension cable (9).
➤ Connect the 230 V cable extension with the cable of the MiniPlug connec-
tion plug (10).
➤ Plug the supplied 230 V battery charger connection cable (11) into the AC
INPUT socket of the battery charger.
➤ Plug the 230 V battery charger connection cable (11) into the DEFA interior
socket.
