• The transport refrigeration system may only be installed by qualified per-
sonnel from a specialist company. The following information is intended for
technicians who are familiar with the guidelines and safety precautions to
be applied.
• Improper installation of the transport refrigeration system can result in irrep-
arable damage to the device and put the safety of the user at risk.
• The manufacturer assumes no liability for malfunctions and for the safety of
the transport refrigeration system, especially for injury and/or damage to
property, if the transport refrigeration system is not fitted in accordance

7.2.1
Information before installation
• Always use two people to lift the cartons to prevent serious injuries resulting
from incorrect handling during transport. Only handle the cartons by the
recessed grips provided and lift the cartons slowly to determine the center of
gravity when lifting.
• Before installation of the transport refrigeration system, check whether any
vehicle components could be damaged or have their function impaired as a
result of the installation.
• The components supplied must not be modified during installation. The
manufacturer only assumes liability for parts included in the scope of delivery.
The validity of the warranty expires if the device is installed together with
third-party parts.
• Check the completeness of the transport refrigeration system according to
the scope of delivery.
• Ventilation openings must not be covered over (minimum distance from
other components: 10 cm).
• Only remove the sealing caps from the DC unit, evaporator and refrigerant
hoses immediately prior to installation of the parts concerned, to ensure the
system is kept free of moisture and dust.
7.2.2
Instructions on handling cables and hose lines
• Use ductwork or cable ducts if it is necessary to lay cables through panels or
flooring with sharp edges.
• Ensure that all drill holes and through holes have a watertight closure.
• Complete the electrical wiring so that damage from sharp-edged vehicle
components is avoided.
• Do not lay loose or bent cables next to electrically conductive materials
(metal).
