Dynamic DNS menu
Access from an external network
To access the Serial Bridge externally (Internet), your router must be confi gured so that port 80 communicates with port 80 on the Serial Bridge.
Depending on your router model, access may require a different procedure. The following parameters are usually required when establishing
communication between the two ports:
Service name: Enter the desired name.
External port: Enter 80.
Internal port: Enter 80.
IP address: Enter the Serial Bridge IP address.
Mode: Set TCP.
Once the router and Serial Bridge have been set correctly (see Dynamic DNS menu), to access the system:
• If the IP is dynamic, enter the host name obtained when registering with the DDNS service;
• If the IP is static, enter the public IP of the router
in any Web Browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc...

CAUTION!! In order to utilise this option, you must first register with one of the DDNS
services provided.
DDNS service: Select the service with which you are registered from the available options.
Username: Enter the username used to register with the DDNS service.
Password: Enter the password used to register with the DDNS service.
Host: Enter the host name obtained when registering with the DDNS service.
This menu can be used to change both the user code and the installer code.
√ The code can consist of letters a-z (capitals or lower case) and/or digits 0-9.
√ The password is case-sensitive (a difference is detected between capitals and lower
case letters).
√ Min. length 4 characters - Max. 10 characters.
