2.4.2. Deactivating the Smart Protect function
The Smart Protect function can be deactivated with the Somfy io-homecontrol
The S&SO-RS100 io then works with standard obstacle detection while guaranteeing the protection
of the roller shutter.
Once deactivated, the Smart Protect function cannot
be reactivated with the Somfy io-homecontrol
control point.
Position the roller shutter at its half-way position.
1)
Cut the power supply for 2 seconds.
2)
Switch the power supply back on.

Simultaneously press

The Smart Protect function is deactivated.

2.4.3. Replacing a lost or broken Somfy io-homecontrol
Apply the double cutout only for the end-product to
be reset.
This reset deletes all io-homecontrol
points; however the sensors, end limit settings and
favourite position are retained.
Position the roller shutter at its half-way position.
1)
Cut the power supply for 2 seconds.
2)
Switch the power supply back on for 5 to 15 seconds.
3)
Cut the power supply for 2 seconds.
4)
Switch the power supply back on: the roller shutter

moves for a few seconds. (If the end-product is in the
upper or lower end limit position it will move back and
forth briefly.)
Press the PROG button on the new io control point until

the roller shutter moves back and forth: the new control
point is programmed and all the other io control points
are deleted.
2.4.4. Deleting the end limit settings: return to default automatic mode
Position the roller shutter at its half-way position.

Position the roller shutter at down position and
raise it by holding it slightly with your hand (without
stopping it) for 5 seconds. Place it back in down
position. On the next movement, the roller shutter
will have found its direction of rotation.
