FIXING THE BURNER TO THE BOILER
Fasten the combustion head 6) to flange 4) by
means of the three screws 10) supplied.
Make sure you have the seal 11) fit on flange 4).
Fasten the electrode unit 17)(A) on flange 4)
with the two nuts and screws 16.
Make sure seal 15) is fitted and in the right
position.
Insert the connections 21)(A) in the holes 22).
Connect the high voltage cables to the trans-
former 23), and the ionisation probe lead to the
appropriate cable emerging from the control
box.
Before installing the burner on the boiler, check
through the blast tube opening to make sure
that the flame sensor probe and the ignition
electrodes are correctly set in position, as
shown in fig. (C).
Fix the train assembly 20)(B) by using the 4
screws 18)(B) supplied.
Pay attention to the presence of the gasket
19)(B) and the gas seal.
•
Tighten the studs 2)(D) on the plate 1)(D).
•
Position the refractory gasket 3)(D).
•
Position the silicone rubber gasket 4)(D).
•
Fix the flange 4)(A) to the boiler plate and
tighten the nuts 5)(D).
During this operation, take care not to touch
the electrode unit.
•
Tighten the nuts 5)(D).
The seal between burner and boiler and elec-
trode unit must be airtight.
Fit the gas train as instructed on page 8.
