4.4 DRIVING THE MACHINE

The parking brake lever must be released.
Gear lever n. 5 and 6 fig.1 and fig.14
n. 6 = Range select lever: reverse, Creep, Fast.
n. 5 = Gear select lever.
For Sincro models
Gear levers n.5, 6, 22, fig.15
n. 5 = Gear select lever.
n. 6 = Range select lever: Creep and fast.
n.22 = Drive direction select lever: forward and reverse.
Do not ride the clutch as this will cause excessive wear on the thrust bearing.
WARNING: It is strictly forbidden to drive on roads with the gears in
neutral! Besides being very dangerous for the driver, such action can
cause notable damage to the machine.

4.5 STOPPING THE MACHINE

a) Move the throttle to minimum revs.
b) Depress the brake pedal.
c) Push in the clutch pedal before the machine comes to a stop.
d) Put the gear lever in neutral and put on the parking brake.

4.6 REAR WHEEL DRIVE

Lever n.8 fig.1. Drive must be engaged when the machine is moving (before
doing so, it is good operating practice to reduce engine Rpm). Rear wheel drive
must always be disengaged with the machine stopped.
