13 Adjusting the Blower

► Insert the AP battery (4) into the battery compartment (5).
► Secure the battery with the hook and eye fastener (6).

The length of the connecting cord can be adjusted by
making a loop (1) and securing it to the top of the battery
bag (3) with the hook and eye buckle (2).
► Always position and secure the connecting cord so that it
will not interfere with proper working technique or your
ability to maintain control of the power tool.
12.6.2 Positioning and Adjusting the Connecting Cord
The connecting cord can be secured in different positions
and adjusted to suit the height and reach of the operator.

The length of the connecting cord can be adjusted by
making a loop (1) and securing it with the cord holder (2) on
the top of the Battery Bag (3).
► Always position and secure the connecting cord so that it
will not interfere with your power tool or proper working
technique.
13 Adjusting the Blower

13.1 Adjusting the Nozzle

WARNING
Make sure the connecting cord is removed before starting
assembly. Never operate your blower without a properly
mounted blower tube and nozzle, @ 5.6.4. Use only
attachments supplied or expressly approved by STIHL,
@ 5.5.
The nozzle can be adjusted to the blower tube in three
positions to suit the height and reach of the user and the
current working situation. The positions are marked on the
blower tube.
