INSTALLATION

Appliance shutdown

f Carry out a tightness check.
f
f Fit the appliance cover. Check that the appliance cover is
f
seated correctly.
f Secure the appliance cover with a screw.
f
f Insert the cap. Turn it clockwise as far as it will go.
f
f Latch the output selector into place. To do this, turn it fully
f
anti-clockwise and clockwise.
f Switch the power supply ON.
f
f Check the appliance function.
f
f Remove the protective foil from the control fascia.
f

13. Troubleshooting

Fault
No hot water.
The appliance does not start.
The differential pressure switch (MRC control valve)
with flow meter does not activate, even though the
DHW valve is fully open.
The appliance is not supplying hot water; the differ -
ential pressure switch has activated audibly.

14. Maintenance

WARNING Electrocution
Before any work on the appliance, disconnect all poles
from the power supply.
Draining the appliance
You can drain the appliance for maintenance work or to protect
it from frost.
WARNING Burns
Hot water may escape when draining the appliance.
f Close the shut-off valve in the cold water inlet line.
f
f Open all draw-off valves.
f
f Undo the water connections on the appliance.
f
f Store the dismantled appliance in a room free from the risk
f
of frost, as water residues remaining inside the appliance can
freeze and cause damage.

Appliance handover
f Explain the functions of the appliance to the user. Show the
f
user how to operate the appliance.
f Make the user aware of potential dangers, especially the risk
f
of scalding.
f Hand over these instructions.
f

11.2 Recommissioning

Vent the appliance and the cold water inlet line (see chapter "In-
stallation / Settings").
See chapter "Installation / Commissioning".
12. Appliance shutdown
f Isolate all poles of the appliance from the power supply.
f
f Drain the appliance (see chapter "Installation /
f
Maintenance").
Cause
The fuse/MCB in the fuse box has blown/responded. Check the fuse/MCB in your fuse box/distribution
The heating system is faulty.
The mains water pressure is too low.
The strainer in the cold water inlet is blocked.
The start-up volume required for the appliance to
start heating at the selected output has not been
reached (see chapter "Specification / Data table").
The high limit safety cut-out has switched the appli-
ance off for safety reasons. The appliance does not
heat up.
The MRC control valve has a contact fault.
The heating system is scaled up.
Cleaning the strainer
A strainer is fitted in the 3-way ball shut-off valve. In case of con-
tamination, you can remove this strainer and clean it.
f Remove the plastic profile washer and the strainer and clean
f
the components.
f Fit the strainer and the plastic profile washer.
f
Remedy

Replace the tubular heater heating system.
Descale / clean the connected aerator / shower head.
Clean the strainer in the water inlet.
Clean the strainer in the water inlet.
Check the cold water inlet temperature and reduce it
if necessary.
Check the function of the MRC control valve and re-
place it if necessary.
Flush the heating system and avoid overheating it
while doing so.
Activate the safety pressure limiter at flow pressure
by firmly pressing the reset button.
Replace the heating system.
