5. INSTALLATION – MOUNTING

5.1 Indoor installation

When lifting stations are installed, the current regulations, and more
generally, the information given in standard EN12056, "Indoor gravity
drainage systems", must be obeyed.
- A work space at least 60cm wide and 60cm high must be left
around all the parts that may need to be adjusted or maintained.
- The lifting station must be protected against frost and ventilated.
- The installation surface must be horizontal and flat.
- In accordance with standard EN 12056-4, the lifting station must be
installed in such a way that there are no rotations. It may be secu-
red to the ground, as shown (See FIG. 7 below), using the fastenings
provided.
5.2 Outdoor buried installation
- The system must be installed and inspected in accordance with the
applicable directives (EN 1610, "Implementation and testing of
sanitation connections and collectors"; regional directives).
- Dig out the ditch according to the system's height; allow for the
dimensions of the inlet duct ND100 (external Ø 110 mm) and the
authorised connection zone inside the tank (See FIG. 8 - below). If
necessary, use an extension (accessory);
- Position the tank so that the inlet duct does not disrupt the level
detection system, then make the opening as described in section
5.3.
- Place the station on a layer of sand (min thickness of layer 200 mm),
shake and position vertically, in line with the ground's surface.
- Fill the space between the station and the ditch with a layer of
sand and compact the sand appropriately; do not warp the station
or remove it perpendicularly.
- If the system is being installed on floodable ground or where there
is a water table, it must be secured in such a way that any related
risks are eliminated. The holes in the external stiffeners may be used
for this purpose.

be exerted on the system ! Stay within the maxi-
mum water table levels ! (See 1.2.2 Table n°1).
- The system must be tightness tested according to the current
recommendations.

5.3 Connecting the ducts

- All the ducts must be fitted so that they are not under stress. The
pipes (including the frames) must be secured so that the system is
not subjected to any tensile or compression stresses.
- Position the inlet pipe ND100 (external Ø 110 mm) so that it can
empty itself. Do not retighten the pipes in the direction of the fluid's
flow.
- Place the inlet pipe inside the tank, in the zone provided (See FIG.
8 - below) making sure that it is positioned so that the effluent inlet
does not disrupt the operation of the level detection system.
- Make an opening with the rotary saw provided. Remove the burrs
