PROBLEM

LIKELY CAUSE
The safety device of the electronic
circuit board has cut in due to:
– b adly connected battery
– b attery terminals crossed
– fl at battery
– f use blown
The safety device of the electronic

– w et circuit board
– i nsufficiently charged battery
– b attery charger fuse blown
– i nsufficiently charged battery
– f aulty fuel supply
– f aulty ignition
– fault in carburetion
– f orward speed too high in relation
to cutting height
– y ou are not ready to engage the
blade
– r echarging of the battery
insufficient
– p roblems in lubricating the
engine
The safety device of the electronic
circuit board has cut in due to:
– o vervoltage caused by the
charge regulator
– b adly connected battery (poor
contact)
– d isconnected battery

SOLUTION
Turn the ignition key to «OFF»
position and look for the cause of
the problem:
– c heck connections (see 3.4)
– c heck connections (see 3.4)
– r echarge the battery (see 6.2.3)
– r eplace the fuse (10 A)
(see 6.3.5)
Turn the ignition key to the «OFF»
position
and look for the cause of the
problem:
– d ry using tepid air
– r echarge the battery (see 6.2.3)
– r eplace the fuse (25 A) (see
6.3.5)
– r echarge battery (6.2.3)
– c heck the level in the tank
(see 5.3.3)
– o pen the fuel stopcock (if fitted)
(see 5.4.1)
– c heck the fuel filter
– c heck that spark plug cap is
securely fitted
– c heck that the electrodes are
clean and have the correct gap
– c lean or replace the air filter
– fl ush out the float chamber
– e mpty the fuel tank and refill with
fresh fuel
– c heck and replace the fuel filter if
necessary
– r educe the forward speed and/or
raise the cutting height
(see 5.4.5)
– c heck that all starting conditions
are met (see 5.2.)
– c ontact your dealer
– T urn the key immediately to
«OFF»:
– t op up the oil level (see 5.3.3)
– r eplace the filter (if the problem
continues, contact your dealer)
