Maintenance Chart
Please note that the following maintenance intervals apply for normal operating
conditions. If your daily working time is longer than normal or cutting conditions
are difficult (very dusty work area etc.), shorten the specified intervals accordingly.
Visual inspection (condition, leaks)
Complete machine
Clean
Control handle
Check operation
Clean
Air filter
Replace
Check
Pick up body in fuel tank
Replace
Fuel tank
Clean
Check idle adjustment –
the cutting tool must not turn
Carburetor
Readjust idle
Readjust electrode gap
Spark plug
Replace after about 100 operating
hours
Inspect
Cooling inlets
Clean
Check
Spark arresting screen* in muffler
Have replaced by servicing dealer
All accessible screws and nuts
Retighten
(not adjusting screws)
Check
Anti-vibration element
Have replaced by servicing dealer
