Caring for the Remote Control Fence Compass
• Do not leave the Remote Control Fence Compass in direct sunlight, for instance on a vehic
le dashboard.
• Use only a damp cloth to clean the Remote Control Fence Compass.
• If the Remote Control Fence Compass gets wet, wipe it dry and place it face down to allow

Communication Between the Energiser and the Remote
Control Fence Compass.
Understanding address settings
You may want to change the address setting of your energiser:
• if you are using more than one remote-controlled energiser on your property.
• if an adjacent property has an energiser that is operating at the same address setting.
• if your energiser turns off unexpectedly quite often.
Different address settings for each energiser prevent unintentional activation or deactivation of
fence lines.
When first connected to the power source, all light segments on the LED display illumina
te. They then illuminate separately from left to right and back again. This indicates that the
energiser is operating normally. The LED display then displays a light sequence, for three
seconds, that identifies the address setting of the energiser.
Reading the energiser's address setting
To help identify your energiser's address setting, all 16 possible address settings are displayed
below. To identify your energiser's address setting, match the illustration with what you see on
the display.
