f) Trimming in the Model
When the throttle lever is in the neutral position (figure 6, item 1), both motors must be off.
Turn the trim controller for throttle control until both motors have stopped and do not hum. Also observe the operating
instructions for the remote control system.
If your model tends to drift to one direction when driving straight under full throttle, correct the neutral position of the
control electronics required using the steering trimming. Also observe the operating instructions for the remote control
system.
Attention!
The trimming settings for forwards driving and left/right influence each other.
After trimming, check that the motors do not start up or hum with the transmitter throttle and steering in the
neutral position. If this is the case, mutually trim throttle and steering and perform the corresponding driving
tests to switch this off. It is often sufficient if the trimming for the motor control is adjusted so that they start
a little later when the throttle lever is operated.
If the motors do not start at all (e.g. when driving forward), the neutral position is not recognised. In this
case, adjust the throttle lever trimming.
