9. Trimming the Model
To influence the flight behaviour in a targeted way, use scis-
sors or a sharp knife to cut open the rudder flap (1) and
make two longitudinal cuts (2) each in both elevator flaps.
Now you can move the rudder flaps to the side or up and
down and thus set the rudders.
Attention!
Use only very small deflections to correct glid-
ing behaviour.
Flight path corrections at the model:
A Adjust elevator flaps downwards or move centre of gravity forwards
B Correct flight behaviour
C Adjust elevator flaps upwards or move centre of gravity backwards
D Adjust rudder flap to the left
E Adjust rudder flap to the right
