Sensor calibration
Sensor calibration:
This page allows you to recalibrate the measurement chain of the AFF-Serie3. This is done every two or
three years. You need a calibrator that accepts ½ inch pickups. It is necessary to pay particular attention
to the quality of this calibrator and the conformity compared to the standard NF EN / CEI 60942.Il must
choose preferably a calibrator specified class 1, in fact it is always better to choose for a calibration an
element of higher class than the equipment.
, Turn on the display and wait 15 minutes to reach the thermal stabilization of the internal elements.
, Insert the calibrator into the sensor and start the sound emission 94 dB.
You can then see on the page:
Level Weight A:
Level Weight C:
Level peak:
When you see these levels you can start calibration by
In the case where the levels are higher or lower than 2dB, the calibration is canceled and the following
message appears:
Since the drift of the sensor + display unit is very small, it is necessary to check the calibrator with a
sound level meter.
If in doubt after calibration, please return to the factory calibration by clicking on:
AMIX
The level of the chain in weighting A must be near 94.
The level of the chain in weighting A must be near 94.
The level of the chain in weighting C and in peak level must be near 97.
Error, the sensor calibration it's over limits +/- 2dB
