7. MANUAL VACUUMING AND SEALING OF A BAG:
THE PULSE VACUUM (C) AND MANUAL SEAL (D) FUNCTIONS
The appliance will create rather high vacuum-pressures in the bag. Should you wish
to seal pressure-sensitive foods like f.e. pastries, we recommend evacuating the bag
with the Pulse Vacuum function and then manually sealing it with the Manual
Seal function. This will make monitoring the degree of vacuum and preventing
damage to the foods even easier for you. Proceed as described in article 6, up to
ill. K.
1. Press and hold the Pulse Vacuum button (C). Observe
the vacuum in the bag during evacuation.
2. As soon as enough vacuum has been created, release
the Pulse Vacuum button and press the Manual Seal
button (D). The appliance will stop the motor pump
and begin sealing the bag. The welds will be applied
according to the last setting (low, medium, high). Wait
for the red control light by the Manual Seal button
(D) to go off and indicate the completion of the sealing
process.
Good to know:
– To ensure optimal performance, the appliance should be left to cool for one min-
ute, before you insert the next bag. Wipe away any leaked fluids in the vacuum
chamber after each use.
– If you do not observe the one minute cool-down time of the appliance and try to
use it again immediately, the appliance will switch off automatically to prevent
overheating of the heating element.
– Our appliance works with SOLIS vacuum bags or -films, please do not use other
bags to achieve optimum results and to prevent damage to the appliance.
