Possible causes
Mains plug is not in.
Main switch is turned off.
General problem with the unit
No power supply
The batteries are empty.
No batteries have been
installed.
Batteries fitted incorrectly
Remote control is defective
The remote control can only
be operated when someone is
sitting on the shower-toilet.
The unit is reporting an error.
The batteries in the remote
control are low.
The batteries are empty.
No wireless connection
between the remote control
and the shower-toilet
The remote control has found
a wireless connection to the
shower-toilet.
Remedy
Insert the plug into the socket. If the socket is
behind the shower-toilet ( not visible ), please
contact your specialist installation engineer or
the GROHE Customer Service line.
Turn on the main switch on the
bottom left of the unit.
Open the service flap and press the reset button
on the left-hand side.
Get a specialist to check the power supply.
Replace the batteries in the remote control,
making sure you stay close to the shower-toilet
when you do so.
Fit the batteries in the remote control, making sure
you stay close to the shower-toilet when you do so.
Check the batteries in the remote control, making
sure the polarity is correct. Make sure you stay
close to the shower-toilet.

or the GROHE Customer Service line.
Please sit on the shower-toilet.
Turn the main switch off for 30 seconds. If the
error message is still displayed once you turn it
back on, please contact your specialist installation
engineer or the GROHE Customer Service line.
The unit takes four conventional
AAA 1.5-volt batteries.
Replace the batteries in the remote control,
making sure you stay close to the shower-toilet
when you do so.
Move the remote control right next to the shower-
toilet. If there is no response, the remote control
may be defective. Please contact your specialist
installation engineer or the GROHE Customer
Service line.
Open the service flap and press the reset button
on the left-hand side. Then switch the remote
control on, making sure it is right next to the
shower-toilet.
