Cracks, brittle areas, discoloration on housing and display
Basic 30 is clean with no dirty areas
Measurements*
Max Vacuum (use Basic 30 with 1 L jar and tubing set)
Set vacuum to - 85 kPa (-638 mmHg).
Using a short piece of suitable tubing (7 mm ID) connect
suction tube to vacuum gauge and start unit, wait 1 minute for
the pump to reach equilibrium
Max. Flow (keep settings from above)
Disconnect vacuum gauge and connect flow meter instead,
wait 2 minutes for the pump to reach equilibrium
Overall evaluation
No safety or fuctional technical faults were detected.
Faults that are not safety relevant were detected. No direct risk.
