MANUAL RELEASE MECHANISM (FIG.6)
Manual release should only be carried out when the motor has stopped
due to blackouts.
Releasing the mechanism externally
(only with a release cable installed).
Rotate the handle "A" through 90°. Hold it in this position and press on
the door to open it. The release mechanism works immediately. Rotating
the handle frees the reduction motor gears.
Locking the mechanism externally
Move the door to the desired position and rotate the handle "A"
towards the closed position. The reduction motor gears may not lock
immediately but it can be locked manually by pressing on the door or
by reactivating the motor.
Releasing the mechanism internally
Operate the lever "L" (fig.6a) until it reaches the release position (fig.6c)
where it will remain thanks to an anti return mechanism.
Locking the mechanism internally
Lightly press, in the opposite direction, on the lever "L" (fig.6a) to over-
come the anti-return mechanism. The presence of the spring will make
the mechanism automatically return to the blocked position (fig. 6a). The
reduction motor gears may not lock immediately but they can be locked
manually by pressing on the door or by reactivating the motor.
ELECTRONIC PROGRAMMER
Electronic programmer with an incorporated radio receiver card, which
allows the memorisation of 28 or 300 user codes.
The 'rolling code' type decoder uses 433 MHz series transmitters.
Programming is carried out using single button and allows you to set
the work and pause times.
Electrical connection
Before connecting the appliance make sure that the voltage and fre-
quency rated on the data plate conform to those of the mains supply.
• The appliance works off a single phase 230V 50Hz power supply.
• The appliance must be earthed. To this end there is a binding post
on the electronics card marked with the symbol
wire must be attached.
• Do not use cables with aluminium conductors; do not solder the ends
of cables which are to be inserted into the binding posts.
An all pole trip switch with a least 3mm between the contacts
must be installed between the unit and the mains supply.
• During the installation make sure that cables do pass near the night
light (230V 40W).
• Use insulted channelling to run the cables along the garage door.
• User the lowest hole on the motor support bracket "A" (fig.9) to pass
the cable into the appliance.
• To connect the appliance follow the wiring diagram on page 8.
• The microswitch located on the an eventual second motor can be
used as a closing direction travel limit.
Setting the torque limiter (fig.0)
The installer must set the torque selector switch to the appropriate
voltage depending on the weight and dimensions of the door which is
to be automated.
The safety standards in force indicate a maximum thrust at the head
of the gate equal to 50N. To set the torque limier start from the lowest
value and increase the setting until the garage door moves uniformly.
The appliance will give a maximum power thrust for the first 2,5 seconds
each time it receives a movement command even if the setting switch
is set to minimum.
