your good sense. Do not work with the machine when
you are absent minded. Do not work with the machine
when you are tired, under alcohol, drugs, or medicines.
• Operating personal must be at least 18 years of age.
Trainees must be at least 16 years old, but may only
operate the machine under adult supervision.
• Persons working with the machine may not be dis-
tracted.
• Store the machine at a safe place, so that nobody can
get injured or get the machine started.
• Use the machine only as authorized.
• Do not use the machine where there is danger of fire
or explosion.
• Wear appropriate clothing that does not hinder you
when working.
• Wear ear protection and goggles when working.
• Wear safety shoes with steel caps and steel soles with
a non-slipping profile.
• Wear solid working gloves.
• The safety devices on the machine must not be dis-
mantled or put out of action. Conversion, adjusting,
measuring or cleaning work may only be executed with
the motor shut down.
• Installation, repair and maintenance work may only
be executed by specialists. All protection and safety
devices must be replaced after completing repair and
maintenance procedures. Before doing any trouble
shooting, always disengage the motor. Check all com-
ponents and guards for any damage. Defective parts
must be repaired or replaced by an authorized special-
ist. Only use original scheppach spare parts. The use
of non original scheppach parts can be dangerous and
can cause injuries or damages.
• The machine may only be used for the purpose it has
been designed for. For any use contrary to designation
the operator is the sole person responsible. In such a
case the manufacturer is not liable.
Additional safety instructions for fuel-driven machines
• Never work in closed or poorly vented rooms.
• Be careful – the running motor emits waste gas that
can be invisible and odourless.
• Do not touch the exhaust pipe when the motor is run-
ning (risk of burning).
• Do not touch the spark plug when the motor is running
