Enter "m" to build the MPTBASE and MPTSCSIH drivers as
a module or "y" to build the MPTBASE and MPTSCSIH driv-
ers into the kernel.
You can optionally include enhanced SCSI error reporting and IOCTL

driver support. To do so, select the feature and enter
driver as a module. You can only build these drivers as modules.
Save the kernel configuration changes.

Rebuild the kernel modules following the kernel build instructions for

your system.
If you did not build driver support into the kernel, you can skip this

step. If you built driver support into the kernel, you need to shut down
your system. To do so, type:
$ shutdown -r now

Loading the Drivers As Modules

If you built driver support as modules, you need to add the modules by
following these steps:
Load the Fusion-MPT base driver. To do so, type:

# insmod mptbase
Load the Fusion-MPT SCSI Channel host driver. To do so, type:

# insmod mptscsih
If you are using enhanced SCSI error reporting, load its driver. To do

so, type:
# insmod isense
If you are using IOCTL support, load its driver. To do so, type:

# insmod mptctl
The
module detects and maps all target devices to Linux SCSI
MPTSCSIH

/dev/sd{a,b,c,...}
