3.5.7 Final connection
To carry out the connection the cover must be removed beforehand by undoing the 4 x CHC M5
screws.The cap must also be unscrewed from the cable gland.
Insert the cable into the cable gland. Connect wires S1, S2, S3, S4, R1, and R2 to the terminals
provided for this purpose. Tighten the screw located on the top of the terminal block to 0.4 N.m.
torque. Proceed identically for the power cable, connect U, V, W, ground and accessories (tighteen to
0.6 N.m torque). Carry out any possible shielding continuity using the screw M3 (tighten to 1.7 N.m.
torque).
Before closing the cover, be sure the o-ring seal located on said cover is here. Slowly take up any
slack in the cables and close the cover back up at the same time. Tighten the cable gland cap to the
torque shown in the cable gland instruction manual (cf page 30). Tighten the connection module.
Tighten the 4 x M5 screws on the cover to 5 N.m. torque. Finally Reconnect the external ground
connection using the M5 screw located on the rear flange near the cable glands.
