Caution: Follow the polarity and the permissible voltage, and use shielded cables.
A 220 µF capacitor avoids untimely braking if the 24 V voltage is disturbed by the external relay.
Check the voltage value once this capacitor has been fitted. The RC network (220 Ω, 0.1 µF) is
needed to eliminate interference produced by the brake coil.
Position the contactor in the DC circuit to reduce brake response times. Follow the connection
instructions taking the brake polarisation into account.
3.5.3 Cables and power connection connectors
Power connection cables supplied by our company comprise:
3.5.4 Cable and resolver connection connector
Resolver cable
The use of cables packed with flame-retardant is desirable.
3 x power conductors
1 x earth conductor
1 x twisted, shielded pair for connection to the thermal protection.
1 x twisted, shielded pair for connection to the brake
Output voltage
:
Test voltage
:
The resolver cable must be separate from the power cable.
Our company can deliver cables fitted with connectors; consult us.
The cable is made up of 6 wires twisted and shielded in pair.
Output voltage
:
Test voltage
:
The shielding must only be connected to the earth at the servoamplifier
end.
Our recommended cable can be used for working with resolver signals
for distances of up to 50 metres. Please consult us for distances
greater than 50 metres.
Servoamplifier connection: please refer to the commissioning manual
for the servoamplifier in question.
