It is important to adjust the active suction correctly, if the suction flow is high the patient
does not enter sedation and the anaesthesia bag tends to close.
If the suction is too low, the anaesthesia bag tends to swell.
In both cases, the patient's breathing is not followed.
Once the correct flow has been determined (depending on the patient's pulmonary capacity) it is
necessary to progressively increase the % of N
the right hand knob, wait at least one minute before increasing the dosage, until the patient is sedated.

TITRATION. It is possible to store this data in the registry by pressing the appropriate button
below the patient's name.
The device will display these values every time we display the patient in the sedation menu and in the
patient registry.
It will be possible to modify the saved data by entering the patient data.
Obtaining the correct baseline causes a state of relaxation and well-being in the patient.
The baseline ensures the minimum amount of drug (N
allows rapid removal of the drug from the body.
The intervention performed on the patient (sedated but awake) will be accompanied and remain in the
memory with the perception of a positive experience.
BEFORE TERMINATING THE DELIVERY, TURN THE %N
THE PATIENT OXYGEN ONLY FOR 5 MINUTES.
The device will terminate recording when the flow is reset.
If the patient experiences symptoms of malaise (nausea, dizziness, headache), STOP THE
THERAPY IMMEDIATELY.
There is a "FLUSH" button on the device.
Pressing this button will fill the balloon with oxygen.
By squeezing the balloon we administer high quantities of pure oxygen to the patient.
CONSTANTLY MONITOR THE FLOWS SHOWN ON THE DISPLAY DURING THERAPY
BEFORE LEAVING THE PATIENT, EVEN FOR SHORT PERIODS, STOP SEDATION.
THE PERCENTAGE OF NITROUS OXIDE ADMINISTERED TO THE PATIENT SHOULD
BE AS LOW AS POSSIBLE TO ACHIEVE GOOD SEDATION.
Before discharging the patient, keep him/her under observation (waiting room) for about 5-
10 minutes. The doctor may deem it necessary to increase the observation time.
After using the device, it is IMPORTANT to close the cylinder valves.
